Weather specific clothing and camping gear is needed according to the time of year. Although this is a very nice micro-climate area with cooler temperatures than the rest of the island, have in mind that its Cyprus and its end of Spring,, so the temperatures during the days range usually from 25 to 30C, followed by cool evenings where quite high humidity is common.

We recommended that you bring along: protecting eyeglasses, work boots, torch, mosquito repellant, drinking bottle, good shade hat, sunglasses, long & short work pants, working gloves (if you have soft hands), and long sleeved cotton work shirts (to avoid sun burn). From our experience we advice that you dress in layers where you can add or remove accordingly.

It is recommended that you bring with you an external hard disk, USB stick or any other media storage device as it will be of great use. We have tons of information to share with you and also file swapping between students is very common.

Travel Insurance:

We strongly recommend that all our international students have comprehensive travel insurance for cancellation, medical expenses, personal accident, personal baggage, money and liability before travelling to Cyprus. Travel insurance is relatively cheap and can be purchased through a number of channels. Please speak with your travel agent for further details.
